Former Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Draft Pick Ryan O'Connell Signs With The Manotick Mariners

MANOTICK, ON - The Manotick Mariners have signed former NHL draft pick defenceman Ryan O'Connell for the 2024-2025 season.

Drafted 203rd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017, O’Connell spent five seasons playing NCAA Division I hockey with the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Tech Huskies. O’Connell also played professional hockey in France in 2023-2024.

In addition, O’Connell attended St. Andrew’s College, where he scored 12 goals and 84 points in 132 games.
